I can do really weird things with my feet by wearing different shoes. They’ve been puffing up quite a bit because of the warm weather, and whichever shoes I wear leave a very distinct pattern on my foot. My poor little piggies feel quite strange when the rest of the foot is all swollen. Looks funny though.

Staying Put?
Well the obstetrician says it looks like this baby isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. But perhaps I’ve got a trick up my sleeve for the baby!
Been scrapping madly still…

Keeping Everyone on the Edge of Their Seats
Brett has come down with a cold, so he didn’t come to church this morning. I arranged for mum and dad to save some seats for Elisha and myself so they could help look after the boy during the service. I think I had quite a few people thinking that there was most definitely a baby on the way today. Sorry about that if it was you.
I think I must be looking extremely pregnant today as several people who have not said anything in the past were today asking how long I had to go. Can’t believe that it is only nine days til the due date now.
I’m like the little red engine – I think I can, I think I can.
Three Cheers for a Good Night’s Sleep
I slept so well last night. Only had to get up once for the bathroom and only had to turn over four times. What, you think it is a bit strange to count the number of “turn overs”? I don’t. Not when you have to actually wake up, sit up and then spend a good five minutes finding a comfortable position to go to sleep in.
I feel pretty good for having had such a nice sleep.
On the other hand as of last night it looks like my lovely husband Brett is coming down with a cold. Which probably means the baby is about to arrive, because that would be most inconvenient for him. I haven’t seen him yet this morning, so here’s to hoping he’s rallied through the night.
Insomnia Strikes Again
*sigh*
I’ve been awake since about 12.50am. It is now 3.08am. I gave up lying awake in bed about 2.30am. I’m about to go try the whole sleep thing again. It’s a necessary evil you know.
Can you guess what I’ve been doing while I can’t sleep? Scrapping. But it’s not finished so you’ll just have to wait to see it.
It’s Time
When your husband asks you where the tickers from your blog are gone, you know it’s time to do something about it.
Consider it fixed.
Could This be a Substitute for Nesting?
Truly, I have no idea why all of a sudden I’ve been scrapping so much. Here’s one I’ve just finished. Couldn’t scan it as it’s quite lumpy, and the photo’s not the best quality either.

And a view of the flowers which are layered…

The quote on the page reads – “The cat loves fish, but she is loath to wet her feet”.
I was searching all over the place for cat quotes and I have to say it is quite scary how many there are. And even scarier how many of them are quite true and cleverly said at that.
I Forgot to Tell You
Thanks Narelle for reminding me to tell you how the sleep over went. I am pleased to say that everyone survived just fine. The boy, the grandparents and the parents. In fact someone was a little angel, fell asleep without a peep and slept ’til nearly eight.
And speaking of the boy, here is a layout of his first attempt at photo taking.

A Few Layouts I Haven’t Yet Shared

Morgan Adams!
When I am giving Elisha a stern telling off I, as many parents do, use his full name for effect.
A few days ago, I did something that was not to his liking. How do I know? His response to my actions was, “Morgan Adams!”
